Grade Requirements

Paper/Project (5-6 pages) 30% See Paper Prompt

Midterm: In class short ID questions and 2 take-home essays (2 double-spaced pages each answer) 25%

Final Exam: short ID questions and 2 essays (essays are cumulative) 30%

Class Participation: 5% (There will be short in-class writing once a week; a random selection of these answers will count toward your participation grade).

Discussion 10% (Attendance and Participation in the discussion section).

Late Policy: For late submissions you need to have a clearance ahead of time or an official note from a doctor. For all papers, your grade will drop 1/3 for every day your work is late. See due dates in calendar below.
